We are about 10 days away from the start of this years Bead Shop Hop. Do you have your routes all planned out? With the support of these sponsors each store will be bringing you a bigger and better shop hop experience. The stores are stocking up, getting ready for Make "N Takes, demonstrations, trunk shows and some surprises!

Whether you go to one store, two stores, or all 29 stores these local bead stores appreciate your business. The local bead stores are your source for inspiration, friendship and is there for you day after day.

Remember to pick up your passport at the first store and get it stamped at each store you visit. If you visit all the stores in one region you are eligible to win a gift basket valued at over $100. There are three regions so you may win three gift baskets. Visit all 29 stores and you will be eligible to win a $500 Gift Card, good at any of the Shop Hop bead stores. Plus, the trophy is a blinged out gum ball machine full of beads. You have to see it to believe it!! On your journeys stop in at Ocean Sky Beads in Oceanside to see it first hand.

Pick up a Shop Hop Lanyard and have a place to store you passport, pens, pencil, receipts and show others that you are a "OFFICIAL SHOP HOPPER. " By purchasing a lanyard you are entered into the design contest in which you may win a $100 Gift Card. Lanyards can be purchased starting on Sept. 8th for $3.99.

Everyone needs a shop hop collectors pin. Put this on your lanyard and the fun will be in showing them off in the years to come. Collectors pins will be given away to the first 25 hoppers in each store starting on Sept. 8th, one per person, or purchase a pin for $3.99.

Hop from store to store and you receive freebies, discount offers, food and so much more. 29 participating stores from Ventura County to San Diego county are participating in the largest bead store shop hop in the country.

If you go to just a few stores or all the stores, it will be a lot of fun. Each store will give you a unique shopping experience with the variety of beads, gemstones, wire, chain and more. If you visit all the stores in one region you will be eligible to win a regional gift basket value at over $100. If you go to all the stores you will be eligible to win our grand prize which is a $500 Gift Card to be used at any participating bead store. PLUS, you will receive our gumball machine trophy. This machine is full of beads and has been blinged out with crystals by Crystal Ninja. The trophy will be on display at Ocean Sky Beads in Ocean, so drop by and take a look, you'll love it!!This will be the talk of your bead friends for years.

Each store will be doing something different like Make N Takes, trunk shows, Demo's and so much more so check with each store on their individual activities. Beaders' Night Out @ Brea Bead Works

Brea Bead Works will feature two trunk shows during Beaders' Night Out. Sara from C-Koop Beads will be here so check out her great selection and we have a LARGE selection of Patricia Healey fabricated copper beads and pendants for you to pick from. This is probably the largest selection of beads via trunk shows that we have ever held.

The fun begins at 5pm with disco music, register for two Make 'N Takes, hear all about the Bead Shop Hop and of course some good snacks. It all ends at 8pm so arrive early, stay late.

All participating Local Bead Stores will have fun and excitement going on so check in with them to see what is happening!!

Beaders' Night Out

If you missed the past Beaders' Night Out you were left out of all the fun!! This August 12th each store will be doing something different.

Please give your local bead store the support by dropping by between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Each store has something different in store for Make N Takes, offers, food and beverage. Check with

each store for their planned events.

This will be the official kick-off for the Bead Shop Hop. Learn about all the participating stores, the prizes and a design contest. You will be able to pick up a map of the stores and start planning today your Hop route. Get with your friends, pick a region and go hopping...it's easy!!!
